Letter to Summer Families:
It feels like summer is just around the corner and after all of this sitting and computer work there is no place we’d rather be than outside exploring the rivers, creeks, forests and beaches with your amazing kiddos. Sadly, with all that is going on, we can’t guarantee that adventures will happen this summer and so we are checking in today to let you know our plan at this point.
As of right now we are prepared to run summer camp should it be safe to do so. Keeping in mind that the safety of our community is our top priority and will ultimately determine whether or not we run camp. To be clear this means that even if our state decides to open summer camps, we may choose to remain closed. If we determine there is a continued high risk to the health of our staff and campers, then we will not run summer camp at Ramblin’ Adventure Club.
Should camp not run as planned families who would like to gift a portion of their tuition to help pay Ramblin’ teachers and keep our program afloat can respond in email letting us know what amount they would like to gift, or you can contribute your gift directly to the Teacher’s Emergency Fund linked above. We sincerely appreciate your generous support.
We hope you all are doing well. We all could use some more fresh air, beautiful scenery and adventure right about now and we are keeping our fingers crossed that we will be able to get outside with our campers! We will stay in touch with you as more information becomes available to us.
Please send any questions or concerns my way.
Best Wishes,
