Risk Management Policy
In the event that a child is not ready to fully participate in Ramblin’ Adventure Club and in turn puts the group at risk via needing excessive attention, we require the child to take one to four quarters off from adventuring and try again when they are ready. (Examples include but are not limited to: daily bathroom mishaps, wandering away from the group, unstable balance and stability, unable to dress and undress into clothing by themselves, unable to adventure without a parent, etc.)
Registration and Payments Policy
All payments and registration forms must be received by our office prior to your first trip. Enrollment is officially complete when registration and payment have been received. Your spot is secure only after we have received your payment.
An invoice for your child's camp tuition will be sent to you within one week of submitting enrollment. Summer Camp tuition for Early Bird registration is due by Sunday, March 15th, after which unpaid spots will go to the first child on the wait list for any unpaid weeks.
Invoices for families enrolling after the March 15th Early Bird deadline are due within one week of receipt. Or, for families enrolling in a camp spot that is less than 72 hours to start, invoices are due before your child's first day of camp.
Ramblin' Adventure Club does not accept cash or check payments. All payments must be paid by ACH electronic transfer or credit/debit card through the invoice you receive by email from Square.
Child Abuse Prevention Policy
All children must be able to change in and out of shorts, pants and underwear on their own and wipe themselves after they poop while at Ramblin’. We are a school age program and follow strict child abuse prevention practices; Ramblin’ leaders are not allowed to wipe your child after they poop. Ramblin’ leaders can help your child change out of shoes, socks, jackets and shirts only. They many not assist with changing in and out of pants, shorts, swim bottoms or underwear. Children who are unable to wipe themselves will be sent home and may make up days missed in the future after they have become confident wiping on their own.
Car Seat/Booster Seat Policy
Recent research is showing that many children 8 and up are not safe riding without booster seats because they are not yet tall enough for their seat belts to be positioned properly. (AAA and the National Safety Council in 2021 found that 90% of children using adult lap-and shoulder safety belts under the age of 10 should still be in a car booster seat.)We require all participants to use booster seats until they are 4'9, over 100lbs and can pass the 5 Point Safety Test.
Our car booster seats are rated for children 40 lbs and over. All TK/Kindergarten students must weight at least 40lbs on their first day of Ramblin' or will be required to provide their own car seats and walk us through their installation.
Refund Policy
The initial $75 ($45 registration fee plus $30 first week deposit) is non-refundable. Refunds for tuition will be given to customers canceling their enrollment at least 4 weeks before their child's first day of summer camp, minus an additional $30/week for each week beyond the first week of camp. For example, an Early Bird customer cancelling any week of camp within the grace period would be refunded $570 of their original $600. For cancellations outside of the 4-week grace period, refer to the
