What should my child bring each day?
1. Comfy shoes
2. Adult Sized Water Bottle
3. Warm Layers/Swim Gear
4. Hearty lunch with plenty of snacks!
We provide sunscreen and hats however if you prefer your own we invite you to bring your gear of preference. It is recommended that your child brings a larger lunch than they do for school, as they will be running, hiking, swimming, climbing and developing quite an appetite.
How many children are typically in a Ramblin' group?
There are 12 children per group. There are always at least two trail guides giving us an average ratio of 6:1.
How do I pay for the dates(s) I sign up for?
Payments are due 4 weeks in advance of the first adventure of the month. Ramblin' Adventure Club does not accept cash or check payments. All payments must be paid by card through the invoice you receive by email.
What if the adventure I want is full?
If the week you'd like is full we will notify you immediately and put you on the waitlist.
When is the deadline to register for a session or an adventure?
All registration paperwork and payments must be submitted 4 weeks prior to your first trip, however, sometimes we have last minute cancelations so if you’d like to try a last minute registration give our office a call because you may just get lucky.
What if I need to cancel a date?
Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can inform your child's outdoor leaders that your child will not be attending the adventure that week. Refunds/credits will not be given for absences.
Where will you go on rainy days?
In the event of rain we will spend our day exploring two to three of the following places:
1. The Bear Valley Visitor's Center
2. Pump for games and hot cocoa.
3. Mill Valley Library
4. Bay Model
5. Woodacre Improvement Club
6. Roy's Redwoods
7. Inverness Library
8. Fairfax Library
9. The Movies! If there is a child friendly movie
playing that all parents approve of then we will
take a trip to the cinema!
If you have any questions about hours, rates, or partial scholarships feel free to contact us at
